Job Skills / Requirements

Brightstar Maintenance is looking for a restaurant cleaner/utility porter to join our team. This is a full-time, union position with a pay rate of $17.75 per hour. The schedule is 12am to 7:30am, Tuesday to Saturday.

 

Responsibilities include:

- Cleaning and sanitizing all kitchen equipment, utensils, and surfaces according to health and safety standards.

- Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors in the kitchen, dining area, and restrooms.

- Emptying trash bins and disposing of waste properly.

- Washing and drying dishes, glassware, and cutlery using a dishwasher or by hand.

- Stocking and replenishing supplies such as napkins, condiments, and cleaning products.

- Performing minor repairs and maintenance tasks on kitchen equipment and fixtures as needed.

- Reporting any issues or damages to the supervisor or manager.

- Following all company policies and procedures regarding safety, hygiene, and dress code.

- Assisting with other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

  • Working cooperatively with other staff members and providing excellent customer service
  • Requirements:

    • - A high school diploma or equivalent.
    • - At least one year of experience in restaurant cleaning or a similar role.
    • - The ability to work independently and follow instructions.
    • - The ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time.
    • - The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
    • - The ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
    • - A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
