Alliance Building Services is looking for an Accounting Specialist to work in our corporate Accounting department.  If you are looking to build your career, this is the job for you!  

Responsibilities:

Check Deposit/EFT Application:

  • Process and reconcile Accounts Receivable Remittances
  • High Volume of Transactions
  • Scanning of Checks
  • Daily Reporting of Receipts
Collections:

  • Collections Support
  • Actively pursue open AR to ensure timely payments of invoices
  • Communicate with clients to resolve inquiries/questions/disputes
  • Document collection efforts in WinTeam Financial System
  • Meetings with division leaders on monthly basis to review aging
  • Communicate / Escalate issues to Supervisor   
  • Ad Hoc Reports
Accounting Admin Support:

  • Weekly Processing of Credits; Credit/Rebills; Account Setups in Winteam Financial System
  • Ad Hoc Projects
Payroll Admin Support:

  • Verify direct deposit information (ensure that the account and routing numbers match the employee’s file)
  • Enter new hire information for various companies (status: full/part time, email address, apply deductions related to the employee)
  • Adjust rehire information for various companies (whether they changed their email/status/applicable deductions)
  • Enter employee transactions (union dues, child support, garnishments, etc).
Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or in the process of getting degree required;
  • Strong internship experience;
  • Microsoft Excel - expert level skills required;
  • Strong analytical ability;
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills.
