We are seeking a motivated Financial Analyst to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to advance their career in Finance.  You must be a self-starter with advanced Excel, strong analytical abilities, excellent customer service skills, and attention to detail. Prior experience working in an accounting or finance capacity is a must.

This position is located in New York.

Responsibilities include:
  • Strategic Profit & Loss Management: Lead in-depth Profit & Loss analysis for existing accounts across multiple companies, identifying trends and providing actionable insights to senior leadership; across 6 companies;
  • Reviewing Requests for Proposals and preparing bid submissions; ensuring alignment with organizational goals and maximizing win rates.
  • Preparing annual budgets and forecasts; incorporating strategic financial planning and long-term business objectives
  • Performing analysis of prospective business; Conduct comprehensive analysis of potential business opportunities, evaluating financial viability and strategic fit for expansion.
  • Advanced Financial Reporting: Develop and oversee budget-to-actual reports, offering high-level analysis and recommendations for financial performance improvements and communicating financial details to the management team;
  • Management Reporting: Issue high-impact management reports and analyses, highlighting key financial metrics and trends that influence organizational strategy.
  • Monthly processing of labor billing; ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial operations.
  • Communicate directly with clients and attend off-site meetings as required, representing the company and fostering strong client relationships.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field;
  • Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with demonstrated experience in financial modeling and complex data analysis;
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in similar role;
  • Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to synthesize complex financial data and provide strategic recommendations;
  • Prior Customer Service Experience a plus;
  • Superior professional written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting financial information to senior executives.
