Job Skills / Requirements

Essential Duties:
  • Conduct security duties as per post orders, including orientation and emergency response
  • Patrol premises to prevent theft, fire, and vandalism; monitor visitor conduct and report hazards
  • Comply with licensing, uniform, and company policies; follow directions from supervisors
  • Document activities and maintain security of information; report unauthorized access
  • Enforce access control policies consistently
  • Report emergencies and incidents; document details and communicate with supervisors
  • Report abandoned posts and hold posts as needed
  • Remain alert for suspicious activities and enforce policies verbally
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma required; some college in criminal justice preferred
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in security, law enforcement, or customer service
  • Reliable transportation and communication means required
  • Strong organizational and customer service skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

This position requires a commitment to punctuality, professionalism, and effective communication.

Certification Requirements (All)

NYS Security Guard License

Hourly Rate: $21-$23
Schedule: Saturday/Sunday 0700x1500 
OT is eligible
