Reporting to the Director of Talent, the Sr. TA Partner/Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening, hiring and onboarding candidates for all positions throughout the company with a special focus on corporate and senior operational positions.

Responsibilities:

Summary of responsibility in the full-life cycle recruitment process: hiring manager intake, sourcing, screening, interviewing, on-boarding, new hire paperwork including verifications of eligibility for hire and position qualification, follow-up/new employee engagement.

  • Working with Operations or HR Generalist to identify eligibility for rehire for temporary and permanent former  employees of QBS as a talent pipeline
  • Proactively identify talent pools for QBS and QPS for the commonly recruited high volume roles by researching relevant job board sites, internet sources, schools, community outreach, government and social service agencies, etc.
  • Review active and passive candidate resumes, perform screens, and schedule for interviews, as applicable
  • Interview/screen candidates to ensure they meet standards for the position, including necessary certifications, licenses, skill sets, experience, etc.
  • Implement all on-boarding procedures and ensure compliance with forms; assist with license verification and tracking as applicable
  • Maintain detailed tracking of all sourcing, recruiting, hiring, follow-up activities
  • Assist with establishing and administering performance evaluations and tracking for new hires
  • Interact with new employees as it pertains to employee engagement
  • Discuss and track concerns/issues voiced by applicants or new hires with management
  • Create a “Life-Cycle” project for every new vacation replacement and track their whereabouts
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Talent

Skills and Experiences:

  • Have worked in recruiting, staffing, or sourcing role in an agency or corporate environment (ideal >5 years)
  • Understand and able to perform with full life cycle recruiting responsibility
  • Demonstrated proficiency using Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Experience handling high visibility and priority open positions
  • Intermediate skill level in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage multiple priorities concurrently and to completion
  • High level organizational capabilities
  • Strong oral and written communications skills (listening, speaking) required
  • Able to perform tasks in rapid movement environment with an understanding that agility to changing priorities is a skill that the candidate must display
  • Ability to “read” people during interviews and screenings and determine appropriate fit for the job(s) applied while being keenly aware of other opportunities inside QBS that may present equal or better fit opportunities for the candidate
  • Full-cyle recruiting with demonstrated passive and diverse candidate sourcing experience necessary

Availability

QBS maintains operations 24/7/365 and is an “essential business” in the New York area. We work during normal times as well as when other businesses may be closed down. The position requires flexibility and an ability to work whatever schedule and hours are deemed necessary to efficiently accomplish the work and service our clients, which may include working extended hours, weekends, holidays, and/or during emergency situations, such as natural disasters (storms, including but not limited to rain, wind, snow and ice, floods, power outages, fires, earthquakes, etc.), public health emergencies such as the COVID-19 pandemic, government-declared states of emergency, labor strikes, and force majeure events. Accessibility to answer questions by email or phone during off hours in accordance with QBS’ policies is expected. The ability to work this schedule is an essential function of the job.
