Job Skills / Requirements

This position is a safety-sensitive position requiring the inspection and maintenance of all vehicles on a regular basis to ensure the safe and lawful operation of the system fleet.  Performance of these duties must be conducted in compliance with all applicable DOT, federal, state, local, and system regulations and policies, including U.S. DOT drug and alcohol testing regulations.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:         Within the last 10 years, 5 years of experience and/or training in vehicle repair and maintenance shop or any combination of education, vocational training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position. 

Must possess the mechanical skills, physical strength and stamina to perform vehicle repairs using a variety of tools.  Must provide and maintain your own standard automotive hand tools and tool box, ensuring that all tools are in good working condition.
