Overview
Crescent Cleaning Company has been providing janitorial services for commercial properties since 1971, having been formed originally to serve the elaborate and extensive offices and showrooms of The Merchandise Mart in Chicago. Today, Crescent cleans in excess of 10 million square feet and lists, among those clients, many of the same companies that were cleaned originally, thus giving complete endorsement to the level of quality performance that has become Crescent’s trademark. While Crescent continues to serve more than 80 showrooms and offices in the Mart and Apparel Center, its primary client base now includes numerous commercial office, museums, schools and medical properties throughout the Chicagoland area. Job Skills / Requirements
Responsibilities may include:
- Perform various cleaning duties, such as vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, cleaning mirrors and wiping tables/desks
- Clean, detail and re-stock paper products in restrooms
- Remove and dispose of garbage and recycle items
- Properly use all cleaning products and equipment
Requirements
Cleaning experience is a plus, but all necessary training will be provided. Reliable transportation is a must, as well as the ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift 20+ lbs.
- Ability to complete activities that require repetitive bending, lifting, and reaching
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers, supervisors, and coworkers
- High level of ownership, accountability and initiative
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on job assignment
- Ability to work a variety of tasks based on company needs
- Clean, professional appearance
Certification Requirements (Any)
Driver's License
