Resumen

Crescent Cleaning Company has been providing janitorial services for commercial properties since 1971, having been formed originally to serve the elaborate and extensive offices and showrooms of The Merchandise Mart in Chicago. Today, Crescent cleans in excess of 10 million square feet and lists, among those clients, many of the same companies that were cleaned originally, thus giving complete endorsement to the level of quality performance that has become Crescent’s trademark. While Crescent continues to serve more than 80 showrooms and offices in the Mart and Apparel Center, its primary client base now includes numerous commercial office, museums, schools and medical properties throughout the Chicagoland area. The company’s commitment to its clients is one of direct ownership involvement, personalized service, and individual attention. The Company was established on the philosophy that a good service organization is built on long-term high quality relationships with both its workers and its clients. Competencias Laborales / Requisitos

1. Sweeps, vacuums, mops, scrubs, waxes and polishes floors using industrial vacuum cleaners and scrubbing and buffing machines.
2. Sometimes using ladders, dusts and washes walls, cleans ceilings and dusts and polishes furniture and light fixtures.
3. Washes and replaces blinds.
4. Moves cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates and equipment to clean areas. May remove stains from such surfaces as rugs, drapes, walls, and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions.
5. May also sweep walks, rake leaves, cut grass, remove snow or perform other incidental seasonal tasks.
6. Gather and empty trash.
7. Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
8. Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees. .
9. Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment. .
10. Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications. .
11. Steam-clean or shampoo carpets. .
12. Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors. .
13. Clean laboratory equipment, such as glassware and metal instruments, using solvents, brushes, rags, and power cleaning equipment. .
14. Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures. .
15. Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created. .
