Job Skills / Requirements

SOS is currently looking for qualified Security Officers. Immediate Openings Include: 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts. Positions are located in Parsippany, NJ

Essential Functions:

  • Interact with tenants, visitors, and client representatives in a friendly, professional manner
  • Provide outstanding customer service while adhering to company and client policies
  • Protect property by adherence to access control procedures
  • Ability to write clear, concise, and thorough reports, including daily and incident
  • Ability to use computerized access control systems, including automatic check in system and turnstiles
  • Ability to perform assigned tasks with minimal supervision
  • Act as liaison to client in regard to building security issues
  • Ability to stand/sit/walk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work in elevators and respond to high-rise floors
  • Ability to wok exterior posts in inclement weather
  • Ability to respond to emergency calls from visitors, tenants, vendors, and client representatives and follow department procedures to properly handle situation correctly
  • Ability and willingness to receive cross training on all contracted posts
  • Act as liaison to client in regard to building security issues
