Job Description

  • DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

  •  Follows all safety requirements and company procedures at all times.

  •  Use proper PPE to ensure individual safety.

  •  Performs preventive maintenance on all equipment prior to use at the beginning and end of shift.

  •  Handles floor care, including routine mopping(dry and damp), buffing and burnishing hard surfaces.

  • Proper use of cleaning solutions to remove stains.

  •  Use approved cleaning chemicals only with proper PPE as required and must follow SDS.

  •  Provides floor maintenance; including but not limited to vacuuming, shampooing, and extractions on carpets, stairwells and upholstery.

  •  Frequently move heavy furniture as needed prior to cleaning floors.

  •  Identify and report needed repairs on equipment to ensure they are well-maintained.

  •  Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMRENTS:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk for an extended period of time; use a backpack vacuum; use hands and fingers, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. 

This is a Full-Time position 1st Shift, 2nd Shift.
