Assistant Supervisor Job Responsibilities
MUST BE AVAILABLE WEEKENDS
Work schedule is Wednesday- Sunday 1pm-10pm 
  • Assist in the interviewing, hiring and training process for new employees.
  • Assign duties and tasks to employees
  • Assist in shift coverage if needed and daily tasks
  • Ensure that the operations are running smoothly 
  • Enforce all safety regulations.
  • Training will be provided, expect to work along side a senior manager during training phase.
  • Must pass a level 2 background.
  • Drug and TB screening is required. 

 

Additional Responsibilities

  • Two years’ experience in a similar environment and personnel supervision is desired.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Basic Computer skills preferred such as excel, word and Email (Microsoft Office). Must have written and oral communication skills.
  • To effectively plan & coordinate any follow-up as well floor care work.
  • To ensure work shifts are properly scheduled as to cover all aspects of the specification as per contract.
  • To ensure that payroll is completed and relayed to head office in a timely manner.
  • Ensure Team Members have adequate resources to maintain standards on site as per site specification.
  • To provides leadership, support, coordination, and guidance to ensure that quality standards, inventory levels, safety guidelines and customer service expectations are met. 
  • Training new hires, handling quality control and in-servicing staff is an essential part of the supervisor responsibility and includes touring building several times per month to assess work quality using current software for documentation purposes.
  • Ability to understand and place into action basic infection control procedures for safety.
  • Ability to handle mixing of chemicals while being safe with the proper tools.
  • Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods of time.
