Security Officers are responsible for the protection of life and property, detection and prevention of crime, apprehension of criminals, and enforcement of laws and ordinances. Additionally, good documentation skills are required for this position as it is important to document activities and incidents which are witnessed, or the Security Officer is involved in.

We are seeking the best of the best. All candidates must be able to make good judgement decisions and present well to the public. All candidates must have reliable transportation and a reliable communication device. All candidates must be able to meet specific requirements, pass a drug test (including THC), and possess a clean DMV record (if selected for an assignment where driving is required).
Armed Guard Private Security, Inc is actively seeking candidates who have a current BSIS Security Guard Card for graveyard shifts. Most graveyard shifts are between 2000 - 0830 depending on assignment.
All candidates who present with all of the required security guard card training certificates will be offered a $500.00 hiring bonus or the opportunity to participate in the Weapons Training Package.
The Weapons Training Package will include the candidate's, Initial Baton Course, Initial Chemical Agents/OC (Pepper spray) Course, Initial Taser/Electronic Control Device Course, and Initial Firearms Course with required live scan will be paid in full by Armed Guard Private Security, Inc. The candidate would be responsible for all fees required by BSIS for the Baton permit and Exposed Firearm licensing, and assessment fees.
Wage Scale: $16.14 - $18.11, must pass Chemical Agent course within 3 months of hire. Other increases immediately upon registration of the following weapons: Firearm, Baton, and Taser.
Wage scale is dependent upon training and licensure/certifications:
BSIS Firearm Permit
BSIS Baton Permit
BSIS Taser Certification
BSIS Chemical Agent Certification
American Red Cross CPR/First Aid Certification
Candidates must be at least 18 years old
Must have H.S. Diploma/GED
Must be legally authroized to work in the United States
Must have valid Driver's License or state issued I.D.
Must have reliable transportation
Must pass a drug test, including TCH
Must pass a DOJ/FBI Fingerprint Live Scan.
Must have 3 months prior experience. - If not, apply for Entry Level Position
Must be able to sit, stand, and/or walk for majority of assigned shifts.
Must be able to physically control hostile subjects, including restraining in handcuffs, if/when required.
Must be able to lift objects up to 25 lbs. in a safe manner on occasion.
Must be able to safely retain any weapons on person against potential assailants who may try to take them from the guard.
