Competencias Laborales / Requisitos

Summit Building Services is looking to hire an experienced professional to assist with AP/AR,
purchasing, and other administrative tasks. If you have experience in accounting or
bookkeeping, please apply!
Full-time, Monday through Friday
Role Overview:
- Report to and assist the Director of Finance & Administration with day-to-day
accounting and administrative tasks.
- Assist with day-to-day accounting activities as assigned.
- Assist with purchasing.
- Maintain inventory of and order office supplies as needed.
- Assist with weekly and monthly warehouse inventory.
- Assist with Accounts Payable including paying vendors, solving incorrect invoices, and
data entry.
- Assist with Accounts Receivable including invoicing customers, receiving payments, and
collections.
- Assist with responding to customer accounting needs and maintaining customer
relationships.
- Assist with reconciliations of bank and credit accounts.
- Assist with month-end close of general ledger and data query support for preparation
of financial and operational reports (monthly, quarterly, and annually).
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Assist with payroll preparation.
- Assist with preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings.
- Other duties as assigned.
Role Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred.
- Required experience in Bookkeeping, Accounting, or in a similar role.
- Knowledge and experience with general accounting and financial accounting concepts.
- Familiarity with GAAP regulations and reporting requirements.
- Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office Suite, with emphasis on Excel.
- Willingness to learn new software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- A positive attitude with the ability to easily work with and maintain professional
relationships in a culturally diverse environment.
