Competencias Laborales / Requisitos
The Floor Care Supervisor is responsible for scheduling, and management of Reliable Commercial Floor cleaning operations, budgets, quality, and equipment maintenance. The Supervisor will possess knowledge of all commercial floor, and truck mount carpet cleaning operations and will be responsible to manage and train a crew.
Responsibilities:
- Work alongside and supervise floor team to complete projects
- Experience with commercial floor care services
- Waxed hard floor service (buff/burnish, scrub recoat, strip and wax)
- Non-waxed hard floor service (scrubbing things like ceramic tile, concrete, epoxy, etc.)
- Truck mount carpet cleaning (steam cleaning carpets).
- Experience working with various chemicals, especially floor stripper and associated carpet cleaning chemicals
- Responsible for overall quality and hourly budget of floor crew
- Ensure techs plan for each job – including equipment, chemicals and plan of action
- Assign duties to floor team and regularly inspect their work to ensure that established standards are met
- Track rates (average speed floor crew complete certain tasks) of various jobs to improve our quoting and training processes
- Determine when a team member’s performance is deficient and not being improved with training.
- Manage budgets and scope of work, follow work orders, securing the buildings, not leaving equipment behind, and leaving areas we serviced the same or cleaner than we found them.
- The Floor Care Supervisor must be able to effectively communicate descriptive information to the technicians or customer and answer any questions they may have.
- The Supervisor is responsible to provide excellent customer service by ensuring the crews provide quality work, are prompt to the job, understand and abide by the workorder information, have the correct supplies and equipment for the project.
This position includes working in the field and is typically Monday – Friday with occasional Saturday. Shift is 3:30 – 11:30 pm. There will be times where we work different hours or days, but they should be less than 1x/month on average. The pay range is $21-$25 per hour based on experience.

Requirements:
HS Diploma or equivalent experience in commercial floor and carpet cleaning operations
Minimum of 3-7 years’ experience in management of commercial floor cleaning operations is preferred.
- Technical knowledge of all aspects of commercial floor cleaning and service delivery.
- Management and implementation of policies, performance management, employee relations, and safety training.
- Strong computer skills, along with written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to proactively establish and maintain effective working relations with employees and other departments.
