We are currently seeking an Operations Manager to join our Guardteck team in Toronto Ontario.
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the consistent and effective operation of branch activities in accordance with corporate policies and standards. This role manages the Operations Support Team, including scheduling, onboarding, training, and quality control across service locations. Key responsibilities include compliance auditing, mobile patrol and fleet management, OH&S oversight, office and equipment management, and providing operational support to regional supervisors. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong communication skills, attention to detail, enthusiasm and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Operations Support Team, including coordination with the Mobile Division.
- Oversee scheduling for short-notice absences, special assignments, and new hire orientations, while maintaining accurate tracking records.
- Ensure efficient onboarding of new employees.
- Conduct comprehensive quality control through audits, inspections, and compliance checks using internal systems like WinTeam and LMS.
- Monitor field performance through GPS reports and supervisor feedback, ensuring adherence to corporate standards.
- Serve as the OH&S point of contact by preparing and updating hazard assessments, training supervisors, and ensuring compliance with Ontario’s Occupational Health and Safety Code and Kandor’s safety program.
- Ensure regular site audits, inspections of equipment and uniforms, and submit monthly quality control reports.
