The Command Desk Supervisor will be responsible for leading and managing a team of Dispatchers/Command Desk Officers. The Command Desk is the heart of Pinnacle's security operations. The Command Desk Officers are responsible for intake of all telephone calls for the company and assisting Pinnacle employees with all matters and concerns. Desk Officers must execute proper judgement in problem solving and escalating matters to management as appropriate.

The ideal candidate for this lead position will be experienced in working a Command Desk within the security industry. Supervisory experience is also a must. Additional assets include experience with Winteam, Post Watch, and Scheduling. We are seeking an individual with Decision-Making skills and the ability to contribute strategically to the management and organization of the Command Center. 

The individual will work under the direction of the Director of Operations and must exhibit our core values of Look the Part, Team-Player, Accountability, Respect, and Integrity.

 

This is a Daytime Supervisor position: Monday - Friday

Must be willing to work overtime and varying shifts as needed.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Command Center staff
  • Assigning tasks, Motivating, and Assessing Performance
  • Foster an environment of accountability within the Command Center
  • Create uniformity in performance and processes within the Command Center
  • Provide training, guidance and support to Command Center staff
  • Monitor Post Watch and provide assistance with Scheduling
  • Monitor daily schedules
  • Exhibit a team-player mindset while providing excellent assistance to Pinnacle employees and contacts
  • Follow the proper protocols for managing a variety of incidents
  • Maintain and update call logs, activity reports and other documentation as required
  • Respond and follow-up to issues by coordinating with Pinnacle Management and field staff.
  • Acquire and maintain knowledge of property locations.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned

 

 Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience as a Security Dispatcher/Command Desk Officer is a MUST
  • Experience as a Lead or Supervisor is a MUST
  • Experience with WinTeam Software and Post Watch is a plus
  • Decision-Making skills
  • Ability to work in a high stress, fast paced environment
  • Computer Literate: Familiar with Microsoft Office products
  • Experience handling and managing schedules 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • College Degree is a plus
  • Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Must be professional and courteous
  • Must have excellent customer service skills
  • Must have the ability to pass background screenings
  • Must possess the ability to multi-task
  • Must have the flexibility to work all shifts and assist the team as needed
