Our front-line security force is comprised of personnel with experience in civilian law enforcement, the United States military, or a minimum of 1 year in the private security industry. Responsibilities

  • Review Activity/Incident Reports Daily
    • Analyze and assess daily activity and incident reports submitted by the security patrol team
    • Identify any security concerns, breaches, or patterns that require attention or follow-up actions
    • Collaborate with security personnel to address and resolve issues promptly and efficiently
  • Review GPS Patrol Reports
    • Utilize GPS patrol reports to track and monitor the security team's patrolling activities
    • Ensure that patrolling routes are efficiently covered, and security measures are implemented as per the assigned schedule
  • Review Daily UCR Reports from NOPD
    • Obtain and review daily Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) reports from the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD)
    • Stay informed about crime trends and incidents occurring in the area to enhance security measures accordingly
  • Adjust Patrol Strategies as Needed
    • Based on incident reports, GPS data, and UCR reports, make informed decisions to adjust patrol strategies as required
    • Work with the security patrol team to implement changes effectively and optimize security measures
  • Attend MAX Meetings with NOPD
    • Attend scheduled meetings with the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) as part of the Metropolitan Area Xchange (MAX) program
    • Collaborate with law enforcement to share information and coordinate efforts to enhance the overall security of the district
  • Prepare Weekly & Monthly Reports
    • Generate comprehensive weekly and monthly reports for the management and stakeholders
    • Provide detailed insights into security incidents, patrol activities, and any adjustments made to the security strategies
    • Present the reports in a clear and organized manner to the appropriate personnel
  • Manage Weekly Schedules
    • Proactively fill open shifts within the security patrol team to always ensure adequate coverage
    • Handle special requests for shift changes or time off, coordinating with the appropriate personnel and maintaining the integrity of the schedule
  • Interact with Residents
    • Engage with residents within the security patrol district to build positive relationships and foster a sense of community
    • Proactively address any security-related concerns raised by residents and provide assistance as needed
    • Follow up with residents after an incident has occurred at their residence to ensure their safety concerns are addressed and provide support and reassurance
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Criminal Justice, Security Management, Business Administration) or equivalent work experience
  • Previous experience in security management, law enforcement, or related fields is preferred
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with security personnel, law enforcement, residents, and stakeholders
  • Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving abilities to handle challenging situations effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record
  • Successful completion of any required background checks and screenings.
