Job Skills / Requirements
- This position is responsible for the protection and preventive surveillance of the premises, assets, visitors, and residents at client locations while maintaining a high visibility presence and enforcing property regulations outlined by said client
- Often times, we provide the FIRST contact in the safeguarding of the clients, therefore, you must have a high level of customer service, ability to recognize safeguarding concerns, and the ability to identify and report risks
- Security officers will prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions through detection, deterrence, observance, and reporting
- Inspects and adjusts security systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure operational use and to detect evidence of tampering
- Calls police, fire, and EMS in cases of emergency such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons
- Monitors, authorizes, and controls access to buildings while maintaining order and safety of personnel by utilizing CCTV Systems, carrying out regular patrols, and periodic tours of the premise including examining doors, windows, and gates to ensure that they are properly secured
- Maintains appropriate daily logs and reports of events or incidents
