Job Skills / Requirements


Janco is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to join our evening shift cleaning team. As a Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our clients' facilities. This role is crucial in ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all building occupants.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, including replenishing supplies.
  • Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
  • Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
  • Maintain cleanliness in common areas, offices, and other designated spaces.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
  • Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor.
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used and stored properly.


Additional Information / Benefits

To ensure the health and wellbeing of our clients: Daily maintain and clean offices, lobbies, restrooms and other work areas by emptying trash cans and collecting recyclables, dusting, sweeping and moping.

  • Janitorial work schedules are 2nd shift and are typically from 6pm to 11pm, Sunday through Thursday
  • Average hours are between 15 to 32 each week dependent on determined building requirements
