Overview: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. As a Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our facilities. This is an important role in ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for employees and visitors. Responsibilities: - Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming - Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas - Empty trash receptacles and replace liners - Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when restocking is needed - Perform floor care duties including buffing, waxing, and polishing floors - Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials - Assist with setting up rooms for meetings or events as needed - Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department - Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area Experience: - Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work preferred - Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment - Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision - Strong attention to detail and time management skills Skills: - Floor care - Maintenance - Buffing - Industrial cleaning - Custodial - Porter - Commercial cleaning We offer competitive pay rates and opportunities for career growth within our organization.
