Overview

One of the largest family-owned Montana businesses has the need to hire a hiring specialist for our eastern Montana region.  We experience very little turnover, so this is a unique opportunity we are opening up to outside candidates for a limited time.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional people skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills; the ability to be creative with scheduling in order to consistently fill open shifts with suitable, right-fit candidates; ability to identify and grade quality job applicants;

Job Skills / Requirements

  • Scheduling and dispatching personnel
    • Partner with supervisors in monitoring staffing levels and needs, and report regularly to regional manager
  • Recruiting and onboarding of new employees
    • Track staffing of current accounts, anticipate the need for new hires, and hire to fill positions
    • Utilize all available resources for finding applicants such as: Indeed, Facebook, Craigslist, Job Service, flyers, community networking, as well as encouraging referrals from current team members
    • Screen all job applicants
      • Initial screen of all applicants based on qualifications for the position
      • Interview qualified applicants
      • Complete reference checks as needed
    • Make and secure job offers
  • Supplies and inventory
    • Partner with supervisors in the ordering, drop shipping, and tracking of consumables.
    • Monitor and manage home office inventory, manage the ordering and drop shipping for accounts, and accurately assign supplies to job codes.
    • Complete month-end inventory count
