Job Duties and Responsibilities:
· Regularly meet with client representatives for status updates.
· Attend onsite Client meetings and briefings and assist the client with security and plans for on campus events as required.
· Identify and address any issues that may arise.
· Supports security planning, assessments, and surveys; reviews and updates post orders.
· Staffing, scheduling shifts, conducting interviews and hire qualified applicants to fill open post positions in a proactive and timely manner while following company interview guidelines.
· Make sure that all positions are staffed according to contract requirements and effectively manages branch overtime through proper scheduling and staffing.
· Performs employee reviews regularly evaluating potential promotions, transfers and or replacements.
· Initiates and or recommends termination as needed for voluntary and involuntary separations of employees. Executes termination meetings as necessary and completes all follow-up documentation according to company policy.
· Ensure that security offers meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements.
· Ensure timesheets and schedules are properly maintained and updated regularly.
· Ensure that scheduling is handled effectively to meet the client’s requirements while controlling labor costs; reviews Security Officer site reports to verify that post orders and client directions have been satisfactorily followed.
· Conducts disciplinary and counseling sessions in a proactive and professional manner.
· Will de-escalate situations before they become hostile or unpleasant for the client, staff and or employees.
Qualifications:
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Strong work ethics and excellent follow-up and leadership skills.
· Must be able to communicate effectively verbally, written with top Executives, President, Vice President, staff, and employees on a regular basis.
· Ability to interact effectively with various social levels and diverse cultures and maintain professional composure.
· Prior experience in the security industry, law enforcement, military, education and customer service is highly desired.
· Demonstrated working knowledge of personal computers and Microsoft Office Suite programs.
· Ability to take initiative, achieve results while adapting to changes.
· Must be able to lift and or move up to 25 pounds
Requirements:
· Minimum 3 - 5 years of professional-level experience required, managing non-exempt employees in a fast-paced, service organization.
· Prior experience in the security industry, law enforcement, military, and customer service highly desired.
· Current CPR/AED/ First Aid
· Must be able to obtain a required state license.
· Ability to read, write and understand English.
· Must be able to successfully pass a Background and MVR check and Drug screen.
· Must be able to respond to emergencies and incidents as needed.
· Able to direct, motivate, train, coach, and discipline staff in a positive manner.
