Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in security, law enforcement, or military service and possess strong conflict management skills.
Job Skills / Requirements
Private Company seeks to hire a Program Manager who will be responsible for staffing, scheduling, working closely with the client meetings and addressing their concerns. Take prompt action when complaints and or concerns need to be addressed. This person will be the first line of contact for the client and employees. The Program Manager must be able to communicate effectively verbally, written with top Executives, Clients and employees on a regular basis.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Regularly meet with client representatives for status updates; address actual or potential problems; supports security planning, assessments, and surveys; reviews and updates post orders.
- Conduct interviews and hire qualified applicants to fill open post positions in a proactive and timely manner while following company interview guidelines.
- Performs employee reviews regularly evaluating potential promotions, transfers and or replacements.
- Initiates and or recommends termination as needed for voluntary and involuntary separations of employees. Executes termination meetings as necessary and completes all follow-up documentation according to company policy.
- Provides input to company initiatives; promptly assists in the resolution of Legal, Financial, Human Resources, and administrative issues.
- Ensure that security offers meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements.
- Handle unusual circumstances and situations for the Client, employees, and Staff.
- Attend onsite Client meetings and briefings and assist the client with security and plans for on campus events as required.
- Make initial and or conditional job offers for new employees and job transfers for existing employees.
- Maintains and publishes weekly Open Post List and actively manages job openings within division and or branch.
- Make sure that all positions are staffed according to contract requirements and effectively manages branch overtime through proper scheduling and staffing.
- Maintain a qualified and sufficient pool of rovers for backfill of vacant positions as needed.
- Ensure timesheets and schedules are properly maintained and updated regularly using the WinTeam system.
- Ensure that scheduling is handled effectively to meet the client’s requirements while controlling labor costs; reviews Security Officer site reports to verify that post orders and client directions have been satisfactorily followed; personally, inspects posts as part the evaluation of the security staff.
- Conducts disciplinary and counseling sessions with Security Professionals as needed in a proactive and professional manner. While ensuring that all paperwork is documented in a timely matter.
- Will de-escalate situations before they become hostile or unpleasant for the client, staff and or employees.
- Maintain a well-organized, clean, and effective working area, and ensure all daily, weekly, and bi-weekly deadlines are consistently met.
- Performs additional projects and or tasks that may be requested by the client, upper management, and staff.

Qualifications:

- Prior experience in the security industry, law enforcement, military and or customer service is highly desired.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of personal computers and Microsoft Office Suite programs. Ability to learn and efficiently operate various timekeeping and payroll programs, such as WinTeam and eHub.
- Ability to take initiative, achieve results while adapting to changes.
- Must be able to lift and or move up to 25 pounds.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years successfully Managing a contract as a Project Manager.
- HS Diploma required, AA/AS desired.
- Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Outlook, Excel and PPT
- Current CPR/AED/ First Aid
- DCSO/SPO Security State License required.
