SecTek, Inc. is currently searching for a full-time security officer manager for a position in Statesville, NC.


Job Summary

Our professional security officers are responsible for providing exceptional physical security services as well as performing emergency care in emergency and non-emergency situations at the client site by applying necessary medical treatment to sick or injured persons.

Job Skills / Requirements

Manager Duties:

  • Responsible for site operations, to include training, scheduling, payroll, disciplinary, and retention
  • Managing the schedule and security officers ensuring ALL shifts are covered
  • Maintaining a positive relationship with client
  • Performing duties in accordance with post orders
  • Gatehouse: Controlling/restricting vehicle or truck access to the property
  • Outdoor patrols
  • Creating detailed reports on building activity
  • Responding to major occurrences with speed and accuracy

Abilities Required:

  • Must possess the visual acuity necessary to prepare records and reports and operate a computer terminal.
  • Must possess manual dexterity to operate standard office, data entry, and computer equipment.
  • Must be able to physically perform the basic life operational functions of climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, and repetitive motions.
  • Must be able to perform very heavy work exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force.

Education Requirements (Any)

High school diploma or equivalent

Certification Requirements (All)

North Carolina Guard Card

Additional Information / Benefits

Minimum Requirements

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED/high school equivalency
  • Must have active NC Guard Card
  • Must have current CPR certification
  • Must have at least three (3) years of supervisory experience
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • Must possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Shift: Full-Time
Monday – Friday: 6:00am- 2:00pm
