Job Skills / Requirements

TITLE: Contract Services Group, Dry Cleaning Attendant

CLASSIFICATION: Part-time/Full-time, non-exempt

DEPARTMENT: Housekeeping Department

REPORTS TO: Operations Manager

COMPENSATION RANGE: $18.00 - $19.00 DOE

Requirements of the Dry Cleaning Laundry Attendant:

  • Experience with dry cleaning chemicls used in the process of garment cleaning. 
  • Experience with use of a dry cleaning press, which consists of hot temperatures and steam. 
  • Experience with cleaning and treatment of delicate high end fabrics 
  • Maintain the volume of cleaning agents
  • Operate the drycleaning equipment used in the processing of garment items.
  • Clean machines, filters, and lubricate equipment in a safe manner
  • Complete other duties assigned.

Knowledge/Critical Skills:

  • Preferred to have at least one (1) year experience in the dry cleaning industry. 
  • Use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment at all times
  • Prioritization and time management skills
  • Working quickly without compromising quality
  • Knowledge and ability to use standard methods, practices, tools, and equipment utilized in the cleaning industry
  • High School Diploma (preferred)
  • Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices
