Overview

West Michigan Janitorial provides industry-leading janitorial service to businesses in West Michigan. We employ nearly 500 Custodians and Janitors for positions cleaning in commercial environments. 

We are looking for an energetic Custodial Team Lead in the Holland area. 

Responsibilities of the Custodial Team Lead:

  • Perform regular walk-through inspections
  • Monitor and coach team members
  • Perform exemplary customer service
  • Cover cleaning routes as needed:
    • Clean and restock restrooms
    • Empty Trash receptacles
    • Dust office equipment
    • Wipe down hard surfaces 
    • Vacuum, sweep, mop floors
    • Clean interior windows/ doors

Job Skills / Requirements

Requirements of the Custodial Team Lead:

  • Prior supervisory experience strongly preferred but not necessary
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Self motivated
  • Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach and lift up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to use motorized equipment (vacuum, hand operated floor cleaners)
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and safety related materials

Must be able to pass a background check

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Shift Time: Roughly 4:30 PM – 1:30 AM (Shift times may vary occasionally)

Hours Available: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Starting Pay Rate: $18.00 to $20.00/hour (dependent on experience)
