Threat Analyst– Salary ($70,948.80 Annually)
 
Skills and Qualifications:
The United States & Canada Security Center (USC) Threat Analyst will be responsible for maintaining and executing the Threat Management Program. The Threat Analyst will work closely with a variety of stakeholders to create and present projects and initiatives in the USC.

The Threat Analyst will perform responsibilities with a strong initiative and a positive mindset. This position requires a high level of company knowledge and independence, as they will lead threat and analytical-related responsibilities for the United States and Canada (US&C) region. The responsibilities listed below are in addition to daily analyst duties of the US&C Security Center (USC). The Threat Analyst will work collaboratively to investigate and assess business needs and produce relevant products for teams. This role will receive basic training from the USC and Threat Management teams, and be expected to utilize prior education, experience, and training resources to perform functions. This position reports to the USC Manager but is expected to lead the Threat Management program within the USC without specific directions or guidance from leadership.

The Threat Analyst will:
  • Investigate and evaluate incoming threats to physical and personnel assets to determine the threat level and risk to the company
  • Respond to security threats and evaluate intent and capability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Strategic Analysis, Physical Security, Executive Protection, Threat Management) to mitigate all threats
  • Utilize business impact analysis to draft assessments of political and social movements impacting company sites, staff, and operations
  • Develop and present quarterly analysis reviews to the US&C leadership team and various stakeholders; this includes data analysis of security events / threats, political / social trends, and opposition to the company
  • Independently track groups of interest (GOI) and brief relevant stakeholders about planned disruptions, protests, and strikes that may impact company offices and/or operations
  • Develop and present metrics and product deliverables that provide a comprehensive analysis of the US&C region, including high-risk facilities and security events
  • Create and manage SOPs detailing the USC’s Threat Management program, such as developing and delivering BOLO flyers, identifying persons of interest (POIs), designating security labels, and developing OSINT reports
  • Facilitate regular communications with stakeholders and partners through threat reports, operational email threads, and newsletters
  • Analyze company and regional security trends to provide actionable recommendations to Global Security leadership; 
  • Provide Situational Reports to business marketplace teams during disaster / disruptive events; this involves assessing risks like evacuation zones and natural disasters, providing short and long-term analysis to operational teams and support their decision-making; 
  • Train and upskill security center analysts with threat management competencies and provide training as needed; 
  • Conduct weekly audits of the USC’s threat management workflows and databases; 
  • Maintain strong stakeholder relationships with Threat Management, Physical Security, Executive Protection, Safety & Investigations, and leadership teams to ensure the USC is exercising all mitigation measures against threats to the company; 

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or related degree; 
  • 2 - 4 years of threat management, investigative, intelligence, or related experience; 
  • Excellent knowledge of Windows or Mac, including Microsoft Office and/or G-Suite products;
  • Ability to work and multitask in a fast-paced work environment, across multiple platforms, departments, time zones, and cultures;
  • Ability to work calmly and accurately in crises;
  • Ability to assess and evaluate situations quickly and to identify critical issues;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English;
  • Excellent customer service and phone skills;
  • Focused, organized, and detail-oriented;
  • A desire to work as a dependable team member with a proactive attitude;
  • Be available to work outside of core business hours for security incidents /events taking place;  
  • Authorization to work in the United States;
  • A criminal record devoid of felonies or serious misdemeanors;

Preferred / Plus:
  • Experience with threat assessment / analysis;
  • Creating threat analysis product deliverables; 
  • Experience briefing leadership teams on business impact and threat analysis; 
  • Military / law enforcement experience;
  • Fluency in additional languages, notably Spanish and/or Portuguese;
  • Working knowledge of physical security systems: access control, CCTV, badging, alarm monitoring, and dispatch;
