(TES) is a comprehensive loss control firm offering environmental, industrial hygiene and safety services, turnaround/shutdown/capital project services, EH&S related training, emergency response monitoring services, and insurance risk management services to clients throughout the United States. Technical Environmental Services is seeking candidates for an hourly position in support of environmental projects in the greater New Orleans, Louisiana area. The function of the Environmental Technician is to perform duties related to hazardous waste, asbestos, lead, mold, and RCRA inspections/surveys. This is an entry-level position and will provide the right candidate with an opportunity to hone their skills in an environment that is built upon continuing professional development.

The ideal candidate will have:

1. 0-2 years of experience conducting environmental assessments (preferred);

2. Associate degree (preferred but not required);

3. Effective communication and problem-solving skills (required);

4. Trustworthy and dependable (required);

5. Reliable transportation (required); and,

6. Ability to lift 50 lb. containers (required).
