SEJ Services is seeking a Technical Manager Assistant to join the team in Greer, SC.  The successful candidate will assist the Technical Manager oversee the Technical (Paintline/Paintbooth) Services. The ideal candidate will have service industry management experience, strong attention to detail, and superior managerial skills. The candidate must also have excellent organizational, proactive communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills. 

 

The position reports to the Technical Manager and offers a competitive compensation and benefits package.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • As the Technical Manager Assistant (Paintline/Paintbooth Service), you assist the Technical Manager, salaried supervisors, hourly team leads, and hourly team members in the delivery our services. What are the skills necessary for success?

    • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
    • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite software or similar. 

  • What education and experience are needed for success?

  • 2 years+ supervisory experience in a manufacturing paintline/paintbooth service environment required.
  • Lean manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, 6-Sigma or continuous improvement are desired.
  • Automotive paint shop experience, industrial process cleaning, or janitorial supervision desired.
Compensation and Benefits:

Salary: $50,000 - $55,000 depending on experience.
