We are a growing multi-state company headquartered in Nashville and need good people to join our accounting staff.  We are a small but growing team, so we often wear multiple hats and help out where needed.  The primary focus of this position will be accurate and timely invoicing and processing payments.  

This position requires a highly organized individual who possesses strong initiative and has the ability to complete multiple projects in a deadline driven environment. This individual must be able to communicate effectively and understand the need to work in an integrated manner with other members of the department in furtherance of Archangel’s goals and objectives.

Job Essentials, Responsibilities, Duties


  • Prepare and send accurate customer invoices.
  • Review timesheets, rates and invoices for accuracy.
  • Record and apply payments to accounts according to remittance details.
  • Oversee collections and aging reports, following up on overdue accounts and responding to customer inquiries.
  • Build relationships with customers.
  • Maintain timely and accurate collections of accounts receivable balances.
  • Prepare various accounts receivable reports and ad-hoc analytics, as requested by leadership.
  • Assist in other accounting areas as needed.

  • High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to interact with employees in a professional manner.
  • Professional, driven, motivated self-starter.
  • Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and a fit with the company’s culture & values.
  • 2+ years in accounting, billing, or finance related position
  • Proficiency in Excel
