Our company is  located in NYC and we are looking for FSD (Fire Safety Director) with a F89 license. The position pays $25.00 per hour may include union benefits.

Duties include:

• Monitoring: The fire safety director is attentive to all systems and fixes them immediately if they malfunction.

• System analysis and evaluation: The fire safety director analyzes current evacuation plans and makes new ones.

• Communication: This position involves communicating fire safety plans, so good communication can help save lives in emergencies.

• Scientific knowledge: A director understands the science behind fire spread and management techniques to prevent fires from spreading.

• Fire safety codes: The fire safety director stays up to date with all local and regional fire codes to implement them in their building.

• Instruction: This position involves educating other staff and all occupants of a building on the proper emergency procedures.
