Job Skills / Requirements

The Security Project Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing security operations for high rise professional buildings in Atlanta, GA. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting risk assessments, developing security plans, and implementing security measures to protect clients' assets and personnel. The Security Project Manager will also be responsible for managing a team of security professionals, ensuring that all security protocols and procedures are followed, and providing regular reports to clients and senior management.

The Security Project Manager will work closely with clients to understand their security needs and develop customized security solutions that meet their specific requirements. The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing budgets, ensuring that all security equipment and systems are properly maintained, and staying up to date with the latest security technologies and trends.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in security management, criminal justice, or a related field (preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in security management

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Serves as the key point of contact for client upper management to ensure the delivery of high-quality customer service for assigned account
  • Evaluates service quality and initiates any necessary corrective action in a timely manner.
  • Meets regularly with client representatives for status updates; addresses any actual or potential problems; assists line management in negotiation of client contract; provides support during client start-up; supports security planning, assessments, and surveys; reviews and updates post orders.
  • Collaborates with line management to prepare and coordinate staffing schedules for account as necessary; ensure scheduling is handled effectively to meet client requirements while controlling labor costs; review Security Officer site reports to verify post orders and client directives have been satisfactorily followed;
  • Conduct periodic inspections of all posts to evaluate the performance of security staff.
  • Maintains a positive, professional environment in full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures; ensure team members comprehension and compliance.
  • Maintain and submit payroll records and other associate and business information as required.
  • Participate in hiring/selection, scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, development, and support as required.
  • Develop, maintain, and strive for the sustentation/maturation of effective relationships with both client and employees.
  • Coordinate necessary support services to effectively manage site to meet or exceed financial and operational goals and provide quality customer service.
  • Ensure the client site is provided with high quality security services to protect people and property.
  • Ensures adherence to and enforces all applicable laws, regulatory statutes, and company policies/procedures within the scope of his/her authority.
  • Determine and manage resources to meet objectives in an effective and efficient manner.

Additional Functions:

  • Ensure all required reporting and contract compliance requirements are met.
  • Meet all contractual scheduled hours with a minimum of unbilled overtime.
  • Communication with company leadership to keep the project aligned with company goals.
  • Use of spread sheets and tracking tools to monitor short falls and opportunities.
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout project execution.
  • Communicate staffing requirements in a timely manner, assist in identifying, interviewing, and hiring quality supervisory personnel /security officers.
  • Assure communication of policies, company announcements, and post orders are provided and understood by entire staff on site.
