AIS is a BSIS licensed Private Patrol Security Operator that provides security services spanning from Los Angeles County to San Bernardino and Riverside County. Due to our rapid annual growth and an increasing number of client accounts, we are now looking for experienced Security Officers. Our ideal candidate has military, law enforcement, security and customer service experience. We are a close-knit team with a focus on professional development and can-do attitudes! Most positions require standing for long periods of time and outdoor patrolling.

Job Summary:

Field Supervisors will conduct routine vehicle patrols to supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services to an assigned customer. The Field Supervisor will act as a liaison between customers, Operation Managers and security officers. They will supervise site staff and provide training, recognition and discipline within an approved empowerment range.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Conduct routine post checks and patrols of assigned area.
  • Ensure Officers on post are in compliance with Contract Standards, Post Orders, and client needs and requests (including uniforms, equipment, and credentials).
  • Enforce AIS’ policies as outlined in Employee Handbooks and Company policy memos.
  • Conduct remedial retraining, when necessary.
  • Conduct routine pre-emptive and proactive Training, as scheduled.
  • Provide mentorship to Officers.
  • Assist Officers in communications with Operations Management and/or other office staff.
  • Initiate disciplinary procedures and corrective measures and documentation for violations, when necessary.
  • Administer site safety programs outlining site-specific hazards for security officers including vehicle/driving safety.
  • Organize Officer post rotations and breaks as needed.
  • Provide Operations Admins with observed in-field information such as more efficient Officer scheduling, identification of qualified Officers suited for promotion or raises, potential hazards or risks, status of deployed equipment and vehicles, etc.
  • Collect sign-in sheets and Daily Activity Reports as needed.
  • Collect distributed administrative paperwork, when necessary.
  • Download, review, and submit Officer Guard Touring information.
  • Respond to, effect assistance, and properly document crisis situations and critical incidents, when necessary.
  • Initiate employee injury and duty-related traffic accident documentation and reports.
  • Submit Supervisor’s Daily Report.
  • Perform basic administrative tasks as needed.
  • Fill open posts, when necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Clean drivng record (our fleet insurance requires drivers to be 26 years of age or older).
  • High School Diploma/ G.E.D., or equivalent.
  • Must have active guard card 
  • Must have exposed armed weapon permit.
  • Possess all required additional qualifications and certifications required by all sites within assigned area of responsibility.
  • Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner.
  • Display exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites.
  • Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently.
  • Capably utilize scheduling, guard touring, and billing software to produce reports that require interpretation and action for effective business management.
  • Able to:
    • Have a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays, when necessary
    • Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
    • Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
    • Occasionally climb stairs, ramps, or ladders
    • Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time
  • As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Pay Range: $20.00 - $23.00/hr

Job Offers and Contingencies
