Absolute International Security (AIS) is a licensed Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS) Private Patrol Operator (State Lic. PPO 16302) that provides security services spanning the greater Los Angeles Area, including Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations. The Armed Security Officer will utilize various security measures, including surveillance systems and conflict management techniques, to ensure the safety of the premises.


Duties

  • Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
  • Operate CCTV and other surveillance equipment to maintain constant vigilance over the premises.
  • Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies while following established protocols.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to ensure safety compliance.
  • Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor in all interactions.
  • Provide first aid and CPR when necessary; maintain certification in these areas.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during incidents or investigations.
  • Document all incidents accurately in reports for future reference and analysis.
  • Engage in loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property.

Requirements


  • Valid armed permit
  • Guard Card
  • Certification in CPR/First Aid is essential; additional training in conflict management is a plus.
  • Baton
  • OC Pepper Spray
  • Previous experience in law enforcement, military service, or security roles is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time


Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 9.00 per week

Job Offers and Contingencies

Failure to meet all contingencies satisfactorily will result in the offer of employment being rescinded.
