What does a Talent Acquisition Administrator do? 

The Talent Acquisition Administrator plays a pivotal role in the recruitment, interviewing, and administrative processes related to talent acquisition. The individual will be responsible for executing strategic recruitment initiatives, building partnerships with external organizations, and ensuring a seamless onboarding process. We are seeking an energetic and innovative candidate who can contribute to the growth of our aviation team. 

  • Organize the company's participation in various recruitment events, collaborating with employment agencies and educational institutes. 
  • Post career opportunities on both internal and external platforms. 
  • Ensure job postings are up-to-date and aligned with the current staffing requirements. 
  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Team to ensure recruitment targets are met. 
  • Develop innovative and creative recruitment advertisements targeting high-profile candidates in the aviation industry. 
  • Utilize various channels, including print and online media, to attract top talent. 
  • Attend and participate in career fairs, both internal and external. 
  • Actively source and engage with potential candidates outside of traditional channels, which may involve some travel. 
  • Implement creative approaches to attract talent. 
  • Collect, review, and track incoming resumes, ensuring accurate data management. 
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews. 
  • Conduct first-round interviews and assess candidate suitability for further stages. 
  • Maintain accurate records of all applicants in the internal applicant tracking system. 
  • Generate regular reports on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to recruitment metrics. 
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on recruitment data.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of related experience in talent acquisition or recruitment. 
  • Completion or progress toward a diploma or degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Ability to present effectively to individuals and groups. 
  • Proactive work ethic with a creative approach to recruitment. 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment. 
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality. 
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications. 
Salary Range: $55,000 - $60,000

This role is fully based on-site at our office in Vancouver International Airport (YVR).
