Job Purpose
Under minimal supervision, recommends and implements strategies and actions to achieve marketing goals. Coordinates all marketing activities and initiatives of the organization. This includes ensuring the communication and messaging of the Company’s mission, values, culture, brand and products are consistent and effective both internally and externally.

Job Functions and Responsibilities:
| 1. | Leads the launch of marketing, advertising and social media programs, campaigns and tactics that effectively and consistently communicate information and messaging regarding the Company’s mission, values, culture, brand, and products to both external and internal stakeholders. Collaborate with outsourced marketing partners to accomplish marketing campaigns and messaging. | 25%
| 2. | Ensures company website and retail shopping website are operational, content is current, relevant and site navigation is effective and user friendly. Manages and stores the artwork for Whip Mix Corporation. Collaborate with outsourced website developers to accomplish website management. | 20%
| 3. | In conjunction with the sales team, identifies and manages Trade Show Opportunities and Whip Mix events which includes staying aware of relevant events available, creating and maintaining the Event Opportunity List for events by date, recommending the level of participation, ensuring registration and payment deadlines are met, doing pre-set-up and other show preparation activity including kit booth materials for the trade show and attending 2 shows per year to build relationships, gather market intelligence and promote Whip Mix products. | 15%
| 4. | Collaborate with outsourced marketing partners to track and analyze performance metrics and data in order to report as well as make recommendations to leadership on the effectiveness of marketing strategies and campaigns. | 15%
| 5. | Maintains promotional material and show-stock inventory to ensure stock is available. Collaborate with Sales and outsourced marketing partners to ensure promotional materials are current. Ensures the publication of promotional material is completed on time and within budget. | 10%
| 6. | Manages Whip Mix Continuing Education programs which includes managing and tracking attendance, ensuring programs maintain certification, issuing continuing education credits or other confirmation awards to attendees, effectively promoting programs and measuring program effectiveness. | 10%
| 7. | In conjunction with Quality Assurance and Engineering, ensures barcodes are compliant for ISO standard 13485:2016. Works with designers and vendors to provide artwork needed for product labels, Instructions for Use, Manuals, etc. | 5%

Job Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, & Worker Characteristics
- Proficiency in MS Office as well as experience working in an ERP system required.
- Solid understanding with the ability to apply various marketing techniques.
- Organizational skills with the ability to efficiently prioritize work assignments and meet deadlines.
- Ability to efficiently and effectively respond to requests entered into the Change Request system.
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with other team members as well as external firms and vendors.
- Requires excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
- Math skills sufficient to prepare statistics and reports.
- Strong understanding of data in order to research and recommend as well as make data-drive decisions.
- Effective communication skills.
- Must be able to work collaboratively with team members and cross functionally.
Summary Education & Experience Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or related field required.
- Three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience preferably in a dental manufacturing setting.
- Experience with email marketing platforms and social media management tools, HubSpot preferred.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite for graphic design tasks.
- Effective copywriting skills.
- An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be substituted.
Travel
Must be able to travel up to 20%, travel may be overnight and includes domestic as well as international trips.
Working Conditions
This position is based in a manufacturing facility, with an office setting. There may be occasional exposure to mild levels of dust, noise, mechanical parts, and vehicles in the production area. Prolonged periods of sitting, with occasional standing and walking. Manual dexterity to operate office equipment as well as occasional reaching and lifting up to 25 pounds. Communicating effectively both in person and virtually or over the phone as well as working on a computer screen for extended periods of time. These physical requirements are designed to ensure the individual can perform the essential functions of their job effectively while maintaining their safety. A reasonable accommodation may be requested to enable individual to perform an essential function.
