Job Skills / Requirements

The Assistant Project Manager provides support to Project Managers, Superintendents, and Foremen to

  • Administrate project start up and close out
  • Track workforce production
  • anticipate project related needs, challenges and opportunities
  • input and track project documentation
  • other project related administrative support



Assist the Project Leadership Team to:

  • provide all construction administration
  • develop and implement overall project plan
  • monitor, document and photograph progress of the installation
  • update project scheduling
  • track budget updates, corrections, and revisions
  • log and track materials
  • compile, verify, and track production
  • update drawing revisions
  • develop and submit change orders
  • manage subcontractor documentation
  • develop and update Punch List
  • schedule weekly Construction Department meetings and develop agenda
  • compile updated drawings, project schedules, submittals, and other forms/documentation and distribute to field personnel as required/requested.
  • Process permit/inspection requests and secure and track permits/inspections.
  • facilitate job closeout activities



  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 5+ years of commercial construction related experience
  • 2+ years of experience as a Project Manager Assistant
  • 2+ years reviewing project drawings preferred
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite, Bluebeam, Accubid, and Foundation preferred
  • Must have a valid driver's license.

  • Able to complete all Job Duties safely and in compliance with federal, state, local, project, and company safety regulations
  • Able to complete work assignments in a variety of challenging physical environments
  • Must be able to work minimum 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, and additional hours and days as needed for work completion.
  • Must be able to travel as needed for work assignments.
  • Must be able to sit and/or for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to withstand repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers for full day work assignments.
  • Requires good vision and hearing (normal or corrected).
