Overview
Job Skills / Requirements
Duties and responsibilities include:
Patrols assigned areas on foot or in a vehicle to ensure personal, building, and equipment security.
Provides escort services for visitors and client staff.
Watches for and reports irregularities, such as fire hazards, leaking water pipes, and security doors left unlocked; sounds alarm in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
Prepares routine, standardized reports.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Ability to understand and follow safety procedures.
Ability to detect problems and report information to appropriate personnel.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Successful candidate must submit to post offer, pre-employment drug screening.
Must posses pre-employment Act 208 Guard Licensing process by State of Hawaii
