Commercial Cleaning District Manager

Position Summary:
The District Manager oversees multiple janitorial accounts within a designated territory. This role ensures high-quality service delivery, effective team management, and strong client relationships. The District Manager is responsible for operational performance, staffing, training, budgeting, and compliance with safety and company standards.
 

Reports To: VP of Operations 

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise day-to-day operations across multiple client sites, ensuring contract compliance and customer satisfaction.
  • Hire, train, and manage site supervisors and cleaning staff.
  • Conduct regular inspections to maintain quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients; serve as the primary point of contact.
  • Manage labor budgets, supply inventory, and overall operational expenses within assigned district.
  • Schedule and coordinate staffing needs, shift coverage, and employee assignments.
  • Ensure safety procedures and protocols are followed at all sites.
  • Address client concerns promptly and professionally, taking corrective action as needed.
  • Monitor and report on KPIs, labor costs, and productivity metrics.
  • Travel between sites regularly and be available for emergency response as needed.
 
Qualifications:
  • 3–5 years of experience in janitorial or facility management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or multi-site management role.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and scheduling software.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if needed.
  • Has the ability to work successfully in both independent and team settings.
