Job Skills / Requirements

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required:

  • Must be a NYS Licensed Security Officer
  • Must have a valid F-89 license or T-89
  • Must possess a high school diploma or GED
  • Must be able to pass any State-requirements.
Skills Required

  • Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors.
  • Ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Active listening skills
  • Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively.
  • Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately.
  • Strong Computer Skills
  • Must be able to take Ownership of the Operation in absence of the Lead FLSD/ Manger
  • Able to take a FDNY On-site and Pass

HS / GED

Certification Requirements (Any)

NYS Security Guard License
FDNY CoF F-89 for Commerical Buildings (FLSD)
