Job Skills / Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent; and
• Two to three years of progressively responsible related experience in a commercial property, tenant management setting; or
• Any combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.

• Perform scheduled maintenance and building repairs, including equipment testing, and preventative

• Perform unscheduled maintenance calls, including plumbing emergencies, minor equipment malfunctions, HVAC calls, electrical and lighting repairs, and minor structural repairs 
• Responsible for the operation and maintenance of fire/life safety systems for the property.
• Perform regularly scheduled Preventative Maintenance tasks to ensure all building equipment is functioning

• Respond to emergency calls after hours as directed.
• Perform routine inspections of building(s} and systems.
• Promote and maintain safe work practices focusing on overall safety.
• Work with tenants to understand their needs in order to build and maintain positive, productive and

• Complete general repairs in the common area as directed. (70%}
• Complete lighting and electrical repairs in the common area. (15%}
• Provide support for Marketing as needed for events in the common area. (10%}
• Respond to tenant specific requests or repairs (billed back to specific tenants). (5%}

• Responsibilities may require an adjusted work schedule, overtime, and evening/weekend hours in order to meet deadlines.

• San Rafael, CA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
