Job Skills / Requirements

The Field Supervisor will be responsible for managing after hours scheduling operations and providing quality control in the field 24 hours a day. This would primarily be achieved by acting as single point of contact for officers in the field, coaching and supporting our people in the field, taking lead on incident management and investigations, prioritizing response and support with available resources, liaising with internal stakeholders, and interfacing with our clients as required.  Shift schedule will be weekends 0000-0800 hrs.

Job duties include but not limited to:

  • Responsible for filling after hour short notice book offs using WINTEAM. Standing down until a replacement is able to report to the site. Same applies for short notice coverage requests.
  • Visits all special contract sites at start date to set up the post orders and train guards on reporting software. 
  • Oversees all support and service delivery functions at static locations and mobile operations.
  • Act as direct supervisor to mobile officers and ensure no mobile checks are missed daily. Assists mobile team with ad-hoc patrols when required.
  • Responsible for monitoring and responding to alarm calls.
  • Ensures the successful completion of priority operational tasks, as requested by the Client Service team; communicates completion and related feedback.
  • Attends and supports all escalated incidences and investigations, including but not limited to operational occurrences, workplace injuries, and officer conduct issues.
  • Proactively completes quality assurance visits across all Paladin sites to ensure staff are trained and conduct themselves to the highest standard.
  • Completes Security Program Audits or site equipment, documentation, staff training and compliances in coordination with Client Service team.
  • Deals with any escalated staffing, disciplinary, and interpersonal issues, as well accolades and employee recognition initiatives.
  • Performs other duties as requested to assist with Paladin needs
 

 

Education Requirements (Any)

Grade 12 or GED equivalent

Certification Requirements (All)

Valid Manitoba Security Guard License
