Please note: This position is a temporary 3-month position.
At the end of your temporary assignment, Paladin may, in its sole discretion, based on its assessment of your suitability, its business needs, and/or any other reason, decide to either:
- extend your temporary assignment on the same or different terms; or
- return you to your current position of the same status and pay rate prior to taking up the temporary assignment
Job Description:
- Proactive & reactive security patrols
- Report writing
- Investigate routine incidents
- Access control
- CCTV surveillance
- Patient/Visitor management
- Administrative tasks & client assistance
- Parcel & key management
- Property inspections
- Lost and found management
- Property rules & regulations enforcement
- Assist in case of emergency, first aid or any other intervention
- Interact with visitors, customers and the general public
- Detect, challenge and displace unwanted visitors
- Collect information on complaints or events
Job Requirements:
- Maintain a positive, productive work environment
- Effective communication to support patients and visitors
- Exceptional customer service skills - 6+ months of Customer Service experience is considered an asset
- Fire panel system knowledge
- Comfortable working in high populated environments
- Great organizational skills and stress management
- Concierge experience is considered an asset
- Must possess a valid security license for Ontario
- Must possess valid First Aid & CPR - Level C (from a WSIB-approved vendor)
- Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB)
- Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's UoF/MOAB training program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the position
- Please be aware: The UoF/MOAB training is not paid as it is a pre-requisite, however Paladin will cover all of the costs of the training with a 6 month commitment to the position/availability
