The facility adheres to US Homeland Security CTPAT (Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism) program access control including inbound and outbound shipments, visitors and contractors. The guard will be required to work outdoors in all weather conditions inspecting and logging truck traffic and completing patrols.
Experience with CTPAT would be an asset. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service along with good computer abilities are all core requirements.
Duties include but are not limited to: CTPAT Procedures, Weigh Scale Operation, Covid Screening, Access Control, Monitor Security Systems, Conduct Security Patrols, Respond to Emergency Situations.
Job Description
The Site Security Supervisor is directly responsible for Paladin Security operations at the Presstran Industries site. With the support of the Paladin Security Operations Manager this position ensures high quality security services are provided to the client. These services include adhering to US Homeland Security CTPAT (Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism) program, access control including inbound and outbound shipments, visitors, and contractors. Experience with CTPAT would be an asset. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service along with good computer abilities are all core requirements.
Preferred skills/qualifications:
- Ontario Security Guard Licence
- First Air/CPR Certification
- Excellent English communication and writing skills
- Strong organization skills
- Excellent ability to learn, troubleshoot, and provide support for security software systems
- Ability to think critically and independently problem solve
- Ability to foster a team
- Motivation and ability to work independently without direct supervision
- Proficiency with MS Office applications, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Excellent customer service skills
- Preference given to those with previous supervisor experience
- Proof of double COVID-19 Vaccination
Certification Requirements (Any)
Standard First Aid, CPR Level C
Valid Ontario Security License
