Job Skills / Requirements

Core Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise security team operations on site
• Manage scheduling, training, and performance of security staff
• Monitor security systems (CCTV, alarms, access control)
• Oversee incident response, investigations, and reporting
• Coordinate with law enforcement, tenants, and stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and emergency procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation and administrative records

Daily Duties May Include:

• Alarm monitoring and dispatch coordination
• Access control and personnel sign-in/out tracking
• Regular patrols (interior, exterior, mechanical rooms, parkades)
• Life safety and fire watch monitoring
• After-hours access control and site security checks
• Report writing and log maintenance

Key Requirements:

• A Valid Security license is considered an asset
• Ability to obtain Government of Canada (GOC) Reliability Clearance
• Minimum 5 years of security experience, including at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including working on a computer
• Speak, read and write English fluently
• Have reliable transportation

Education Requirements (All)

High School Diploma/GED
