WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Assistant Site Supervisor, position is an integral part of having a successful business continuity plan. This position is responsible for the continuous flow of management for any emergency and non-emergent incidents. 

• Ensure all site security staff are trained to carry out operational requirements. 
• Review on a daily basis all incident reports generated at all campuses.
• Follow up with security staff to ensure performance and reporting aligns with expectations. 
• Oversee required monthly audits of all site reports, equipment and security software.  
• Maintain Paladin OH&S program for the campus and ensures all near miss and workplace injuries are properly reported to the manager. 
• Fill in for the Site Supervisor during extended periods of absence; this includes working hours, meeting commitments, and all operational and administrative requirements.  
• Carrie out all operational duties and responsibilities as required of a Shift Supervisor. 
• Remain on-call as an after-hours resource for emergent operational issues and is available to attend site as required.
• Provide coaching, mentorship, and training to staff according to the company policies. 
• Maintain a strong working relationship with site management team and keep them up to date with the events on site.  
• Perform other duties as requested to assist with Paladin and client needs.

YOU’RE A GREAT FIT IF YOU 

• Legally Authorized to work in Canada 
• Experience with CCTV and Access Control Systems is an asset.
• Provide exceptional customer service and have strong communication skills.
• Are comfortable standing, walking, climbing or being outdoors for long periods of time.
• Have 1 year of Supervisor experience (preferred).
• Have a valid security license and 2 years of security experience (preferred).
• Have a Class 5 driver's license and a clean abstract.
• Hold a valid First Aid certification or are willing to obtain one.
