We are looking for 1 Full-Time College Campus Security Officer in Mt. Vernon, IA!
- Starting Pay: $16.30/hour
- 1st & 2nd shift position Thursday - Monday
- Thursday, Friday & Monday 3pm-11pm, Saturday & Sundays 7am-3pm
- Days off Tues/Wed, set by Site Supervisor.
- Has the opportunity to get raises based on performance.
- Must be able to interact & cope with students and visitors on campus.
- Previous security experience.
- Must have a valid driver's license and be able to be insurable.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
- Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security
- Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
- Address persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
- Report any facility issues
- Request emergency personnel for high risk situations
This position is 50% walking and 50% driving.
